It’s specially designed for fire protection for steel constructions and is suitable for structural steel to be exposed to a wide range of corrosive environments. Jotun SteelMaster 60WB is the most competitive, waterborne, fire protection product worldwide offering up to 90 minutes fire protection.
This is a one component waterborne acrylic thin film intumescent coating independently approved for fire protection of structural steel exposed to cellulosic fire. It can be used as mid coat or finish coat in atmospheric environments. The product is suitable on approved primers on carbon steel substrates.
